Alloy and patina
Bronze Gold holds a pink tone and patinas slower than plain bronze. Omega says the mix limits the green residue that copper-heavy bronze leaves on skin. Replica cases are bronze or brass, sometimes plated. They darken in weeks and leave a green mark on the wrist. Steel cores show through at the lug backs, crown and caseback edge.
